Introduction

Hello! Do you own a small business? A coffee shop, a restaurant, a gym, a boutique, or an auto spares shop? Well, today I am going to tell you just how you can modernize the face of your business to get more customers, increase sales, and definitely ramp up your profits. I have three quick ideas, with the first one being renovating your premises if they are worn out. Secondly, you need to build a strong brand by making it famous in the local community. Thirdly and lastly, put your business online on social media, where you describe what it deals with and the products that it sells. And I believe when you adopt these three strategies, your business will be as good as new even if it has been in operation for years.

Renovate your premises

In most cases, you will often find a business that has been doing well in terms of sales and popularity has got those old furniture, walls with worn out paints, and the exterior facades looking so old if not ancient. And yet people flock there to purchase goods and services. It is like the owner does not remember to refurbish the premises because he or she is too focused on making profits. But, for how long? Here is my advice to you. Get a construction guy or a company to remodel your business and if you can hire an interior designer, go ahead. They will redo your floors, walls, and ceilings afresh. Don’t forget they will also come up with 2D and 3D designs that will change the appearance of your entrances and openings. With a combination of texture and color, interior designers and renovating experts can modernize your premises in a remarkable way. Then, once the usual customers see the renovation they will like your place more. Also, it is possible that the passersby, who have never thought of stopping by, they will come to check out what you sell when they see the new facades. So my big buddy, please get your business a new face through renovation before I tell you the next modernization strategy.

Build a Strong Brand

The second way of modernizing the face of your business is by building a strong brand that is popular and likeable. Make the local community and your customers associate with your brand. Create this narrative that if you want to get the best coffee, you should go to ABC Café on a certain street in Midtown Manhattan. If you want the best fitness and wellness training, go to Xcise Gym in Los Angeles. Get the people around where you operate from talking about your business. Make the name popular and pronounceable. If you have to come up with a new name, do it. Believe me, when people talk more about your business in their social circles, your location, products, and customer service will be known. Your business will not be like those ones that people have never heard of. Build a popular brand to an extent that it even becomes a landmark that people use when giving directions around town. Just doing that is enough to get more customers coming in.

Social Media Marketing

For heaven’s sake, please tell me you know that if you want to modernize your business, you must do some marketing on social media. Owe unto you, if you don’t know that. But don’t worry; I will guide you on how to get your little-known business online and particularly, on social media. First of all, there are various social media networks like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and Pinterest, among others. Now, where do want us to start? Let’s start with Facebook. You remember how you were once scrolling through Facebook and you saw a business page for Coca Cola, Unilever, Budweiser, Microsoft, or Apple. Well, that is what I would like your business brand to appear on Facebook. Go and create a Facebook page for your business. It is free. Then, on that page, include a clear brand image, some pictures of your premises and your products. From there, you should start posting a few times per week or even per day about the product types and their prices. Engage your potential clients by liking and replying to their comments. Generate leads in marketing. This is where you will get people online asking about what you sell, your business location, and even providing product reviews. And once you master the art of marketing your business and its products on Facebook, then the rest is simple. You just need to repeat the same procedure on Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, etc. That way, I believe your business will become popular in social circles on the web.

Conclusion

To wrap up my discussion, I would like to assure you that the above-mentioned strategies of modernizing your business are tried and tested. I have tried some in my small businesses and they worked. And if not that, then, I have seen owners of other businesses using those strategies and getting more customers like “crazy” if you allow me to say so. Anyway, creating a new face for your business can be done in many ways but in the article, we focused on three strategies, that is, renovating your premises, building a strong brand, and social media marketing. Let’s see if you can get more customers coming if you modernize the face of your business by following these proven strategies. Good luck!
